A perfect mountainside oasis can be found in one of our two charming Cedar Cabins, Baker and Boulder, which feature open floor plans with sumptuous king beds (twin beds available upon request) and a cozy sitting area in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The bathroom has a large shower with two vanities. Guests in the Cedar Cabins have access to a hot tub just steps away from the back deck, nestled in a wooded area. Enjoy sweet dreams in the sumptuous comfort of a massive log post king bed in one of our three elegant Sugar Cabins. Sugar Loaf, Sugar Plum and Sugar Bear cabins offer quiet and solitude with timbered views from private decks. Each cabin has a cozy sitting area and wood-burning fireplace, and is a short walk to the Main Lodge and heated outdoor pool. In 2016, the bathroom in each Sugar cabin was fully remodeled and now features a generous, beautifully tiled shower with a bathtub. Castle Rock’s most stunning feature is the radiant sunroom with a grand cloverleaf whirlpool tub and cozy seating area. Not one, but two decks entice guests to lounge in the fresh mountain air and watch for wildlife as Baker Creek burbles alongside the cabin. During non-snow months, a golf cart is at the ready when it is time to venture out of this dreamy hideaway. It’s easy to see why the One-Bedroom Luxury Cabins are our most requested accommodations. Each individual cabin is uniquely decorated and provides a plush, comfortable sanctuary from which ranch resort guests can set forth each day to discover new adventures. Most luxury cabins have open floor plans featuring living areas with wood-burning fireplaces that can be seen from the palatial log post king beds. In Piquette and Trapper cabins, the bedroom is fully separated from the living area for complete, cozy privacy. In all eight of these luxury cabins, a unique double bath and vanity share a roomy double steam shower. Each wrap-around deck boasts a private hot tub beneath the whispering pines. While all of these cabins are within leisurely walking distance of the Main Lodge, during non-snow months each cabin includes a golf cart for ease of exploring the property. Our two-bedroom luxury cabins offer matching master bedroom suites that share generous, well-appointed living areas and sprawling outdoor decks with private hot tubs. Each master bedroom boasts one of our colossal log post king beds and an en suite bathroom with a palatial double steam shower. These cabins are ideal accommodations for two singles, two couples, or families with adult children. Aspen and Sapphire cabins feature a two level floor plan with wood-burning fireplaces on each level, and the tri-level deck offers each room private access to the hot tub. El Capitan and Paradise unfurl on one spacious level beneath soaring vaulted ceilings. Paradise cabin is uniquely situated on the peak of a forested slope for optimal privacy. It is just over a half mile to the Main Lodge and a car is recommended. El Capitan, Aspen and Sapphire are all located in our main campus area and golf carts are provided during non-snow seasons. Overlooking a dramatic mountain vista, Ponderosa features 3,600 feet of generous living space with an open kitchen and dining area, full kitchen, a soaring vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace. A multi-tiered deck overlooks a private trout pond tucked among the Ponderosa pines with mountain views in the distance. Ponderosa is a three bedroom, three bath cabin that comfortably accommodates six guests traveling together, seeking a private setting and abundant space. For larger groups additional guests can be accommodated. It also serves as a magnificent venue for an executive board retreat or other small meeting. Ponderosa is just under a mile from the Main Lodge and a golf cart is provided during the summer months.
