Golf Mountain View rooms are unique with their panoramic vistas of the lush Ko'olau Mountains and the serene setting of Waialae greens. Spacious rooms and bathrooms have been remodeled in light tropical Kahala Chic pastel tones with a luxury residential feel. The Golf Mountain View room features a Sealy Stearns Foster memory foam pillow top bed with a custom designed goose down duvet and Egyptian combed cotton Frette linen. It has a luxurious bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination, a wardrobe closet and dual vanity sinks.

Golf Mountain Lanai

Golf Mountain Lanai rooms have a large furnished balcony with day views of the lush greenery of the Ko'olau Mountains and by night, the twinkling lights from Honolulu's exclusive homes. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, are decorated in Kahala Chic style with comfort and great design being hallmarks of this category of Kahala rooms. Enjoy an over-sized bathroom with a deep-soaking tub and separate glass shower, two wardrobe closets and dual vanity sinks.

Golf Mountain Lanai rooms are located in the Kahala Tower and Dolphin Lagoon wings and enjoy a picturesque view of the Ko'olau Mountains. Choice of one King bed or two Double beds.

Dolphin Lanai

Dolphin Lanai rooms are located in the two-story Dolphin Lagoon Wing and overlook the home of our playful resident Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. These rooms, decorated with classic Hawaiian plantation home style furnishings, open onto a lanai or outdoor patio and are available with either a King Bed or two Double canopy beds, featuring goose down duvets and Egyptian combed cotton Frette linen. There is a work desk and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view. Rooms all have an over-sized bathroom with dual wardrobe closets, two separate vanity areas, a separate glass shower and deep-soaking bathtub, with luxury bath amenities as well as lush bathrobes and slippers, refrigerator and personal bar, remote control cable TV, in-room movies, clock/radio/CD player, in-room safe, hair dryer, and make-up mirror. These spacious Partial Ocean View Family Suites come with expansive views of the Ko'olau mountains, Waialae Country Club golf course, the Pacific Ocean and Koko Head Crater. They are decorated in the Kahala Chic style with light palettes and a luxury residential feel. There is a separate living room with lanai (balcony), and a bedroom with a luxurious bed featuring goose down duvets and fine luxury linens. Partial Ocean View Family Suites are located in our Kahala Tower wing with expansive views of the Ko'olau mountains, Waialae Country Club golf course, the ocean and Koko Head Crater. Kahala Kai Suite

Located in the Dolphin Lagoon wing in a private, secluded area of the resort, the Kahala Kai Suite opens onto a private balcony overlooking Kahala's crescent-shaped ivory sand beach and ocean. The suite is designed in keeping with the Ralph Lauren Polo Collection theme from the lobby furnishings, casual but elegant for entertaining. These suites feature King beds with goose down duvets and Egyptian combed cotton linen. There is also a working desk and a mini home entertainment system. Can be reserved as one or two bedroom suite.

Kahala Beach Suite

Located in the Dolphin Lagoon wing in a private, secluded area of the resort, the Kahala Beach Suite has three glass sliding doors opening onto a wrap-around patio with direct access to Kahala's ivory sand beach. Designed in a contemporary style, this suite features a relaxing King bed with custom designed goose down duvets and Egyptian combed cotton Frette linen. Signature pieces from the furniture collection of designer Nicole Miller reflect warm golds and rich browns carefully accentuated with antiques from Asia and India. The hard wood floors are adorned with Bali Hai blue and gold silk wool rugs. The Kahala Beach Suite has an expansive bathroom with dual wardrobe closets, two separate vanity areas, a glass shower, deep-soaking bathtub and washlets. The outside patio hosts two chaise lounges, two reclining chairs for sunning, an outdoor dining table for six, and a barbeque grill for entertaining. Can be reserved as one or two bedroom suite.

Presidential Suite

Imperial Suite

Located on the top floor of the hotel, the oceanfront Imperial Suite offers the ultimate Kahala experience. Arancino at The Kahala

Recognized as the Best Italian Restaurant in Hawaii, Arancino at The Kahala showcases a modern take on classic Italian dishes featuring fine ingredients imported from Italy and fresh local products from land and sea. Experience a culinary journey of Italy through Executive Chef Daisuke Hamamoto's thoughtfully crafted menu which features a wide selection of house-made pastas, brick oven pizzas, gibier (game meat delicacies) and more. Hoku's at The Kahala Hotel & Resort is heralded for its innovative fusion fare which melds Hawaiian, Asian and European flavors.

Consistently ranked as one of Hawaii's best restaurants, Hoku's recently underwent a makeover and unveiled a new menu. With a twist on contemporary Island cuisine, Hoku's returns to the basics and revamps the classics.

Dining at Hoku’s is an elevated, extraordinary sensory experience. Elegant and refined, yet comfortable and relaxed, grounded in the Legacy of The Kahala. While panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean may distract, the focus here is on the culinary adventure to unfold. Trained in Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, Chef Jonathan Mizukami blends French-influenced cuisine with fresh local flavors.

Hoku's has a breathtaking beachside setting with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from every table in the multi-level dining room. Also competing for guest's attention is the open kitchen featuring fiery hot woks, a kiawe wood grill, and tandoori and wood-burning ovens.

Plumeria Beach House

On the edge of the white sands of Kahala, the oceanside Plumeria Beach House is our open-air, all day dining restaurant.

Guests will enjoy Hawaii's beautiful sunshine and stunning coastal view at the Plumeria Beach House. The restaurant is bathed in warm, natural earth tones reminiscent of a comfortable island home, with indoor and outdoor terraces taking full advantage of breezy trade winds.

 It's an ideal choice for casual dining, quiet meetings and cocktails at sunset, like our famous Mai Tai and specialties like Mango Madness or the popular Lava Flow.

The expanded a la carte menu features signature items to fit any occasion such as The Kahala Burger using certified angus ground beef with a fried egg, white cheddar cheese, guacamole, bacon, thinly sliced onions served with french fries or our freshly made Gluten Free French Toast with Kahala Maple Butter for breakfast or a hearty Braised Lamb Shank Cassoulet.

Seaside Grill

With a direct view of the Pacific Ocean, Seaside Grill is perfect for lunch after a relaxing morning at the pool, a swim with the Dolphins, beach activities or a shopping excursion to Waikiki.

Lunch is served at beachside tables, with views of the ocean and beach activity. 

Menus include fresh bounty from local waters, sandwiches and salads, hamburgers and delectable desserts, all served with refreshing drinks from the poolside bar.

Seaside Grill is available in the evening for private functions and special celebrations.

The Veranda

The Veranda at The Kahala is the newest 'in' spot for the trendy Honolulu crowd as well as hotel guests looking for the place to see and be seen. This popular lounge now has a more sophisticated and sleek air about it, with furnishings from The Tommy Bahamas line as well as other furniture designers, enhanced by area rugs to create little lounging spaces. Just off the beautiful Lobby, The Veranda offers indoor and outdoor seating, overlooking the beach, pool and Dolphin lagoon. Its alfresco space now features wood flooring and contemporary furniture.

Afternoon tea is a delight with delicate finger sandwiches and pastries and teas from The Harney Collection. The Veranda is the perfect venue for cocktails and light jazz in the evening and offers a selection of wines by the glass from top vintners from the Old and the New World. A menu of Mediterranean inspired small plates complements the innovative cocktail list.

Thursday through Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. Enjoy cocktails and late night snacks accompanied by live entertainment. You won't find a cozier spot for late night dates.
