Superior Room

At 280 to 325-square-feet, Superior Rooms represent the core of the hotel, offering a nod to classic design reimagined through contemporary furnishings. 

Nine-foot ceilings featuring crown molding greet guests, leading them to the the plush pillow top bed framed by an original drip painting headboard. 

Across the room, a sleek 49-inch LED flat screen television provides in-room entertainment.  Ample power outlets and wireless internet ensure seamless connectivity. Artistic accents include a standing mirror and marble top credenza set atop glen plaid patterned carpets.

Superior Guest rooms have limited views with windows facing the interior of THE US GRANT.  Bathrooms feature a glass-enclosed shower, plush robe and slippers. 

Deluxe Room

The 300 to 355-square-foot Deluxe Rooms provide an urban oasis amidst the energy of the city. Set in preferred locations within the hotel, the Deluxe Rooms’ residential entry leads from dark wood flooring to plush, blue accented carpeting where pillow-top Luxury Collection bedding entices guests with a night of renowned repose.

Custom crown molding throughout the guest room draws attention to the nine-foot ceilings and frames the centerpiece of the room, a custom drip painting canvas headboard by artist Yves Clement. Bathrooms feature a glass-enclosed shower, plush robe and slippers.

Grand Deluxe Room

Ideally located in preferred areas within the hotel, our oversized Grand Deluxe Rooms offer an enhanced experience.  Entering into the 380 to 420-square-foot accommodation, guests are greeted by custom furnishings, including accent chairs and a marble top credenza, set atop regal, glen plaid pattered carpets, plush to the touch.

The pillow top Luxury Collection bed beckons, framed by a drip-painting headboard by artist Yves Clement.   Across the room, a mounted LED television provides entertainment. The bathroom evokes serenity featuring a glass-enclosed shower, plush robe and slippers.

Grand Deluxe with Tub

A quiet oasis from the lively city, the Grand Deluxe Rooms’ top floor location ensures a tranquil stay. Surrounded by authentic art, guests soak up the hotel’s regal ambiance, and the oversized bathroom's tub offers the ultimate relaxation experience. 

Boasting 300 to 425-square-feet of space, the bedroom's pillow top Luxury Collection beds are framed by an original Yves Clement drip-painting headboard, allowing guests the unique opportunity to "sleep with art." 

Legacy Suite

Entering into 375 to 475-square-foot Legacy Suites, guests benefit from an open studio suite layout with partially separated bedroom and living area, offering additional space for business or leisure.

In the living area, chic furniture for seating is accented by contemporary side tables and ample lighting.  Moving into the bedroom, a pillow top Luxury Collection King bed invites guests to unwind. Behind the bed, an original drip-painting headboard by Yves Clement adds to the Suite’s artistic accents. 

Landmark Suite

Each uniquely designed one-bedroom Landmark Suites offers an incomparable experience in Presidential inspired style.  Ranging from 375 to 500-square-feet of space, the suites comprises of a separate living area and King bedroom.  

For an enhanced one-bedroom suite experience, upgrade your stay to the 600-675 sq. ft. Grant Suites or the one-of-a-kind, ADA-compliant 778 sq. ft. Ulysses Suite located on the top floor and featuring all of the amenities of the Landmark Suite plus two full baths and a dining area. 

Signature Suite

Offering a sophisticated, self-contained stay, our 770-square-foot Signature Suites are a top choice of discerning guests. Comprising sleeping, living, and dining areas (with a table for four), they offer an open and inviting floor plan, steeped in regal style. 

Meanwhile, the spacious Signature Suite bathroom features an impressive 10-foot by 10-foot walk-in marble shower, which is equipped with six showerheads for an unrivaled experience. 

Senator Suite

Just beyond the Presidential Ballroom Foyer, the Senator Suites provide a personal retreat in the center of the action. The carefully planned two bedroom, two bathroom layout and location adjoining the second floor meeting space make them equally enticing to event planners and leisure travelers seeking a spacious suite experience.

Each private bedroom houses a pillow-top Luxury Collection bed—a King in the master bedroom, and a Queen bed in the other—wrapped in rich linens and nestled beneath a drip-painting headboard. Both marble bathrooms are equipped with glass-enclosed showers, signature Luxury Collection bath amenities, plush bathrobes, and slippers.

A furnished living room and dining table for four complete the suite, and windows throughout the second floor Senator Suites overlook the bustling streets of Downtown.

Ulysses Suite

The ADA-compliant Ulysses Suite sits atop the 11th floor, which historically was added to the hotel in the 1930’s as a radio station.

Designed with the elegance of a Presidential Suite, the one-of-a-kind Ulysses Suite boasts a combined living and dining area with table for four; a King-bed master bedroom with adjoining bathroom offering a roll-in shower; and a second bathroom located off the residential entry featuring a lavish soaking tub.

City views from the top floor offer an authentic San Diego experience, and Presidential leisure inspired artwork enriches the space with regal glamour.

Presidential Bi-Level Suite

Covering two floors and 1,300-square-feet, our Bi-Level Presidential Suites offer an unrivaled experience for all who enter. The space now occupied by the pair of suites historically served as the hotel’s original grand ballroom.

A world within the elegant US GRANT world, find residence in the 9th floor living and dining area, complete with a table for six and butler’s pantry, and escape to the adjacent balcony to capture sweeping views of the city and bay. A half bath and second entry located downstairs offer convenience when hosting guests, and privacy from the 10th floor master bedroom and bathroom.

Upstairs, just beyond the grand entry, the master bedroom offers matchless tranquility with a pillow top Luxury Collection King bed and sofa seating to soak in the 10th floor views. The adjoining master bathroom entices relaxation with a distinctive curved glass shower. A unique design narrative is weaved through furnishings, fabrics and artwork, with one Bi-Level Suite inspired by Presidential Leisure and the other, Presidential Glamour.

Reserving the optional Superior King connecting guest room on the 9th Floor enahnces the one-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath Presidential Suite to create an all-encompassing two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath residence.
 

Penthouse Presidential Suite

Originally a part of the hotel’s 1930’s radio station exhibiting the tallest radio towers to the west of the Mississippi, the 1,300 square-foot Penthouse suite embodies the hotel’s past and present.

With its top floor location, the Penthouse Suite features stunning views of the surrounding cityscape with views to the San Diego Bay from every room. The open, residential floor plan comprises a spacious living area with adjoining dining room and marble topped bar.

A King bed invites rewnowned repose in the master bedroom. The Penthouse Suite features a truly distinguished, luxurious bathroom with infinity overflow tub and separate shower.

THE US GRANT’s exclusive cocktails include our own 100-Day Barrel-Aged Centennial Manhattan—created in partnership with High West Whiskey to commemorate the hotel’s 100th anniversary—as well as the Genepi Americana, a whiskey-based liqueur that was the silver medal winner at the 2015 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.

In addition to our signature cocktails, every three to four months, the lounge finds inspiration from the season to create a limited-time cocktail menu. Winter’s array of fresh citrus concoctions has included the Tropical Tangerine Batida, and the holiday season’s classic tastes and traditions inspired the pumpkin- and star anise-infused rum Smashing Pumpkin, which was featured on the Food Network’s The Best Thing I Ever Ate.

For culinary complements, the lounge menu features shareable plates like soft pretzel bites with dill butter, as well as such entrée options as the Grant Grill burger.
